A photographic essay on musical identities
This book consists of seven photographic sessions that were conducted with different individuals in connection to their favorite songs. This process involved the execution of semi-structured interviews consisting of questions centered around each person's favorite song, its lyrics, and its history. Additionally, through triggering questions like "What colors characterize this song?" the aim was to identify the imaginary world created in the minds of each interviewee based on their personal interpretation of the emotional, aesthetic, and conceptual universe suggested by each song. Subsequently, in collaboration with the participant, the proposal was to recreate this imaginary world through photography to depict on the pages of this book various examples of how music permeates individuals and their identities.
